Type Library

PROJECT OVERVIEW

A typography Library is an essential part of the design process in creating prototypes for user flows. The type of font used can affected how the user perceives and interact with the interface be it mobile, tablet or desktop. The type library is created to help designers understand and know how different fonts and their sizes look like depending on the project being created.

MY ROLE

I was responsible for researching and creating a database of various typefaces. Using Times New Roman as the base I experimented with several fonts that could be used to speed up UX decisions. I was finally able to make a library of different font types, sizes, grids and layouts that can be used for print, desktop and mobile.
