PROJECT OVERVIEW
The student portal is a core app at California State University Fullerton. This is were students can track their academic performances, class schedule, finances and personal information. The visual design of the layout is outdated so I decided to by structuring the app by redesigning the interface.
MY ROLE
The process began by researching the current student portal taking into consideration the color scheme as I wanted users to be familiar with the interface. After several sketches I redesigned the layout with a solution that highlighted the existing UX patterns.

DESIGN PROCESS
I spent a few days sketching and creating a framework to determining the user flow. Using the existing color scheme a style guide was created followed by research, wireframes, whiteboarding, and typography to deliver an aesthetic desktop design.
