Product Design at LinkedIn Ads

As a Product Design Lead on LinkedIn’s Marketing Solutions team, I owned the strategy and design of how advertisers measure and act on campaign performance in Campaign Manager. My work spanned three areas: shaping the vision and execution for advertiser reporting and measurement, leading a 0-to-1 growth initiative that brought incentives into the product, and shaping design standards across the broader Ads organization.

Campaign Performance

Problem: Advertisers couldn't easily understand campaign performance or ROI. The reporting experience was data-heavy and hard to interpret, driving the majority of top customer complaints.

What changed: A reporting experience that turns complex campaign data into clear, actionable insights, so advertisers can see performance, prove ROI, and optimize with confidence.

Impact: 54% adoption after launch · 68.5% engagement with insights and optimization actions · $3.2M influenced revenue

Ad Incentives

Problem: First-time advertisers faced a high suggested budget at campaign creation, making the leap to launch feel risky. It was the number one pain point in the first-time experience.

What changed: An in-product incentive that's easy to discover, claim, and track, surfacing the right offer at the right moment in the campaign creation flow, rather than burying it in email.

Impact: In-product delivery performed 9x better than email, Increased acquisitions revenue lift and advertiser activity.
